our company

In 1970, Mournir ‘Ray’ Kardosh had a vision to open a gas and service station in the Excelsior District.  Located on the corner of San Jose Ave. and Santa Rosa, Excelsior Auto Care quickly became part of the community offering quality automotive repairs at a fair and honest price.  With his brother Elias, his shop ran successfully at that location for over 30 years.  In 2002, Mournir decided to pursue other passions and passed Excelsior Auto Care to Marwan Saba, a long-time employee.  Marwan moved the shop to 2800 Alemany Blvd where he continued to repair vehicles with the same values. 

In 2024, Excelsior Auto Care moved to our current location, 7073 Mission St., Daly City - a location to better fit our shop.  An automotive shop with the same name, same values, same people.  We are excited to see YOU our long time customers, friends and family
